How to Care for your Inlaid Artwork

Hudson River Inlay marquetry is built to last for generations.
All of our pieces are sealed and lacquered.
For cleaning, just dust with a soft cloth.
Avoid direct sunlight.

Mirror Owners: Avoid glass cleaners with ammonia.

Table Owners: It is important to periodically move objects on table tops during the first few months of placement. This is because discoloration due to oxidation may occur beneath objects positioned in a single spot for long periods, regardless of direct sun.
Protective glass may be used for our tables.

We're Kind to Trees!

For the equivalent of every tree we use in our marquetry, we plant ten more trees - through the "Hardwood Forestry Fund"
